Aesop Parsley Seed Cleanser Review

Hey guys!

For the past few months I have been trialling another facial cleanser, and, let’s face it, it would be deeply unfair of me not to share my discovery with you!!

Before I begin let me just say, all of the views are mine and completely honest. I am not sponsored and all products are paid for with my own money, or my husbands LOLS!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you’ve probably heard me rave about the Kiehl’s Calendula Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Wash and, if you haven’t, don’t miss out check out my review by clicking on the link :)!! Kiehls is absolutely amazing but that’s not the only option out there – I don’t know about you but I tend to use 2 or 3 facial cleansers at a time so my skin doesn’t get overly used to one product. I needed to find something in addition, something that complimented my current collection, a product that was just as good or better to help aid in my skin regime.

I was told by a colleague that Aesop products worked very well for problematic skin and, particularly for skin in overly polluted environments. At the time I was based in London so I thought…why not give it a try. KEY TIP: as with Kiehls I originally didn’t purchase the product because of the cost but was given FREE samples I could try from the Aesop Kiosk which was great.

I’m not joking when I say after the first day of use I could see a slight difference in my skin. It looked like a light film has been wiped off my face; my pores appeared smaller and my face didn’t feel dried out as I found with most other products that are seemingly targeted at oily/acne prone skin. Luckily for me, I was given a handful of samples to try out and had more samples of the Aesop Parsley Seed Cleanser.

After this initial trial, let’s face it, I was hooked and decided to suck it up and spend the money. I can honestly say after using this for months I am not disappointed and have permanently added this to my daily skincare regime.

What makes this product so great besides my testimony? Well, firstly, its a lightweight formula that helps clarify and remove skin imperfections like spots and pollution residue. They use lactic acid which helps in gentle exfoliation and the key ingredients are Licorice Root, Lactic Acid, Blackcurrant Seed.

Licorice Root aides in getting ride of dark spots and blemishes it also aides in balancing skin oils and its anti-inflammatory properties aide in various skin disorders.

Lactic Acid is part of a group of Alpha Hydroxy acids which aides in gentle exfoliation and helps your skins pigmentation while keeping skin hydrated.

Lastly, my favourite out of the three Blackcurrant Seed; this ingredient is great as it helps aide in keeping your skin stable while keeping acne and blemishes away. It also nourishes dry brittle skin while keeping it fresh and hydrated.

As you can tell from this review I’m a very happy girl and would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to change or try new skin products. Aesop has a whole range of the Parsley Seed products from lotions to facial oils and I cannot wait to get my hands on them! 😀

Happy shopping and God bless xx

This brand has been on my radar for ages, I saw it in Libertys London and loved it. I have been thinking about trying it. Thank you so much for such an honest review I can’t wait to try it.
