Lately, I have been going gaga over this bag by a brand called Friday by JW PEI. As many of you know I am a huge supporter of sustainability in products and product development and this item certainly ticks all the boxes. The company is an exclusive handbag retailer that produces Vegan and cruelty-free handbags, this means every collection is environmentally sustainable and no animals were harmed in the making. Friday is the sister company of JW PEI who is a larger retailer that also supplies exclusive higher-end vegan luxury handbags. The brand launched in 2016 and has been stealing headlines ever since.
What I love most about this brand is every Friday they drop a new limited-edition design at 5 pm so if you’re the type that loves exclusivity then this is one very good reason to check them out.
I purchased the Mini Flag Bag in the Brown Croc bag and it is absolutely stunning!! Being vegan leather I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is my first vegan leather handbag. Not only was I pleasantly surprised by the quality of my purchase but I also found that the crocodile skin is a beautiful addition and gives it a more luxury feel which I absolutely love. There is a slight sheen to the leather but it’s nothing to worry about as it’s not overly shiny. In terms of feel, it’s a bit sturdier than normal leather which is great because that means it will keep its shape and when it comes to stitching I couldn’t find any faults at all…it is, to put it bluntly, beautiful.
To top it all off the bag came with 2 straps, one thinner strap and a thicker one which is perfect for girls like me who love to change things up every so often. You can change the strap to fit your outfit accordingly which is fab and, whilst the bag is not overly large, you could definitely fit a couple of cell phones a small camera, your makeup, and other small bits and pieces in there.
Not only that but I love how versatile this bag is; it can be dressed up with a pair of heels and an LBD (little black dress) or dressed down with your favourite white sneakers and a blazer…I think it’s the perfect addition to any collection.
There are so many other designs on their website and I already have a few in mind that I will be getting (and reviewing) in the near future.
Last but certainly not least is the price…the bag retails for $89 USD and is currently on sale for $39 USD…what a bargain right. If you’re looking for a handbag with good quality that looks gorgeous and that won’t break the bank I highly recommend checking out Friday by JW PEI…its totally worth every penny.
