Not long ago my hubby and I had the pleasure of staying at the new and amazing Hotel X by Library Collection situated in Downtown Toronto by the waterfront. Before arriving I was under the impression it was going to be another over-hyped overpriced downtown Toronto spot with not much to offer but boy was I wrong.
This five star establishment definitely deserves all the reviews and praise it has gotten after its initial launch in 2018.
Firstly it’s in the perfect location right by the Toronto harbourfront which gives it spectacular views from the bedrooms. It has a contemporary but warm feel which is perfect for couples and families alike.
We stayed in the Corner King Studio room which was absolutely beautiful. The first thing that blew us away was the oversized large windows and the spectacular view of the Harbourfront. Perfect for any sunset night and giving off an abundance of natural light which we loved.
The room is designed with its own office space and a comfy sofa for added relaxation and comfort which we thoroughly took advantage of.
The bathroom was relatively large extremely clean with granite countertops and night lights for the evening. The hotel supplied L’occitane toiletries which were the icing on the cake as I absolutely love their products.
We were very impressed with the staff as they were very helpful with check-in and getting our luggage to our rooms.
My favourite part of the trip was breakfast at room service which was out of this world. If any of you have been following my blog then you’d know my favourite meal of the day is breakfast and if you can get breakfast right you are forever in my good books. The waffle I had was superb, delish, perfect!
We also had the pleasure of dining in the restaurant situated downstairs called Petros 82 which is a fine dining Mediterranian restaurant. The food and wine were nothing short of excellent.
I would definitely give our stay five stars as we had a wonderful time, the hotel was beautiful and clean, staff superb and food was a thumbs up. Thank you Hotel X Toronto for making our stay a memorable one.
